A range of training programmes are available to carers in Lanarkshire which will last until December.
Lanarkshire Carers is offering programmes which cover a range of topics to help carers feel confident in their role and to look after their own health and wellbeing.
Training covers condition specific topics that address issues identified by carers throughout their career.
Over 30 courses are available for free, including yoga, wellbeing related courses, legal information sessions, pain management courses, mindfulness sessions and many more.
Lanarkshire Carers said: “At Lanarkshire Carers, we try our very best to ensure that carers get access to as much information and training opportunities as possible to help them in their caring role.
“We provide free of charge training courses to ensure that no carer will ever be unable to attend due to financial reasons.”
Lanarkshire Carers work with and for carers to develop and deliver services that make a positive difference to their lives.
It is a resource for carers across Lanarkshire to access information, advice and a range of direct support services to help them in their caring roles.
The organisation is commissioned by Health and Social Care North Lanarkshire and South Lanarkshire Health and Social care partnership to provide adult carer support services to carers living in Lanarkshire.
