While fans and the media may be indifferent to the NFL’s annual schedule release, the teams are not. Sure, coaches and quarterbacks aren’t anxiously refreshing Twitter to see the new schedule, but social media teams from all 32 NFL teams, well, this is like their Super Bowl.
There were some excellent schedule release videos Thursday. The Tennessee Titans, Denver Broncos, Los Angeles Chargers, and, yes, even the Washington Commanders had some good, creative content ready for the 8:00 p.m. ET release.
Another one of those teams with a creative way to reveal the new schedule was the Arizona Cardinals. The Cardinals used songs to reveal each opponent on their schedule. And there were some excellent choices. Arizona’s Week 1 opponent, the Commanders, used their mascot, a pig named Major Tuddy, to help reveal their schedule.
The Cardinals had some fun with Major Tuddy. Arizona’s song for Washington: “It’s Peppa Pig.”

Yes, that’s right, the long-running children’s show has a theme song. Check it out.
Pretty creative.
Let’s just say I didn’t think I’d be talking about Peppa the Pig and the NFL.
Congratulations, Cardinals. Well done.
