The Arizona Cardinals added four more players to their team for the 2025 roster. They announced the signing of four players to “futures” contracts.
They re-signed defensive linemen Anthony Goodlow and P.J. Mustipher, both of whom had been on Arizona’s practice squad to end the season. Goodlow was on the practice squad for the final nine games of the season and Mustipher was on it for the entire season.
They also signed offensive lineman Sincere Haynesworth and running back Zonovan Wright.
Haynes (6-1, 300) was an undrafted rookie in 2024 out of Tulane where he was a five-year starter at center. He got hurt and was waived with an injury designation in August, placed on injured reserve and then waived with an injury settlement on Aug. 28. He had a stint on the New England Patriots’ practice squad in October and then a week on the New Orleans Saints’ practice squad and then rejoined their practice squad in December until the end of the season.
Wright (5-11, 210) ended the season on the New York Jets’ practice squad after signing on Nov. 26. He entered the league in 2022 with the Jets as a rookie free agent out of N.C. State. He played in seven games, starting four, as a rookie, rushing for 300 yards and a touchdown on 3.5 yards per attempt, and he caught 13 passes for 100 yards.
He played in two games in 2023 for the Detroit Lions, rushing for 13 yards and catching a pass for eight yards. He also spent time on their practice squad and also injured reserve. He was with the team in the offseason and preseason in 2024. He was cut in August and was unsigned until he joined the Jets in November.
