It appears that the Arizona Cardinals reached out to former Philadelphia Eagles defensive coordinator Jonathan Gannon to be their head coach in a way in which the NFL did not approve. To remedy the situation, the Cardinals, who did hire Gannon to be their new head coach, have made a trade of draft picks.
