The Arizona Cardinals have added defensive help. Using the 41st overall pick in the draft, they selected LSU edge defender B.J. Ojulari.
Ojulari is 6-foot-2 and 248 pounds, had 5.5 sacks and 8.5 tackles for loss in 2022. He had seven sacks and 12 tackles for loss in 2021.
He has extremely long arms for his size — 34 1/4-inch arms and a wingspan of nearly 82 inches.
He ran the 40 at his pro day in 4.59 seconds and his broad jump was 126 inches.
He plays with a relentless motor.
He projects as a likely defensive end in the Cardinals’ new defense.
