The Arizona Cardinals have selected a quarterback in the 2023 NFL draft. Using their fifth-round selection, they drafted Houston quarterback Clayton Tune No. 139 overall.
Tune is almost 6-foot-3 and 220 pounds, and he is very athletic.
He threw 70 touchdown passes over the last two seasons.
In 2021, he completed 68.3% of his passes for 3,544 yards, 30 touchdowns and 10 interceptions.
In 2022, he completed 67.3% of his passes for 4,074 yards, 40 touchdowns and 10 picks.
He also rushed for an additional 544 yards and five touchdowns in 2022.
The selection is certainly a surprise.
