The Cardinals should finally get out to a better start offensively. Seattle’s defense is awful. Even without James Conner, Eno Benjamin should be able to lead a solid rushing attack against a defense that allowed more than 200 yards last week.

As good as the Seahawks’ offense has been, the Cardinals held a better statistical offense last week to only 20 points when they lost to the Eagles.

With the offense getting better and the defense continuing to do good work, I think it will a fairly smooth Cardinals win and has the potential to be one they win in blowout fashion.

The Seahawks defense is among the worst in the NFL. They were gashed for 39 points against a decimated Saints offense last week and must now face Kyler Muray. This should be a get-right game for the Cardinals offensively as they play their last game without DeAndre Hopkins.
Seattle’s offense under Geno Smith has been a nice feel-good story to this point, but their unit overall hasn’t been productive against good defenses. Their last two outings were against the Lions and Saints defenses, both of which are struggling heavily. The past three weeks has shown Vance Joseph’s Arizona defense is indeed capable of carrying the team. Smith and the Seahawks won’t have a 30-plus point performance for the third week in a row.
The Cardinals are the better team and have had plenty of success in Seattle in the past. Look for a competitive game in the first half, but for the Cardinals to pull away late in the third quarter. The team has a huge opportunity to get to 4-3 with two games in the next five days.

Cardinals 33, Seahawks 27

Ahh, the infamous Seahawks-Cardinals rivalry where neither team can seemingly win on their home turf. The Cardinals are the one team that is seemingly immune to the powers of the 12th Man, having won six of their last nine in the Emerald City. In fact, if I’m not mistaken, Arizona’s nine total victories at Lumen Field are the most by any opponent in this venue. I was very impressed by Arizona’s ability to slow down the Eagles last week, but right now the Seahawks’ offense is playing at an incredible level.

Unfortunately, it might not matter if all their accomplishments are immediately undone by the defense. Since the new Call of Duty doesn’t come out until the end of the month, I suspect Kyler Murray will have little trouble moving the ball with ease on Sunday.

I like the Cardinals. I think Seattle is now deeply entrenched in Mariners fever. Football is taking a backseat right now.

I like the Cardinals, too. This is a road game, right? The Cardinals aren’t at home, so that’s in their favor. They do play well in Seattle. I’m interested in seeing Byron Murphy against DK Metcalf. He has played well against big-time receivers this year. I think it will be a little higher scoring.

Bob McManaman, AZCentral Sports

Cardinals 24, Seahawks 20

I still don’t trust this offense until I see them score a lot of points and I don’t know if they will, even against this defense. This is not the same Cardinals team as a year ago. It is still searching, still stuttering, still finding its way. And I don’t think (DeAndre) Hopkins brings it back to life magically. I think the Cardinals will win but it will only be by a short margin.
