The Arizona Cardinals lost much more than a game on Monday.
Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray was injured three plays into the defeat against the New England Patriots.
The non-contact injury on a play Murray was running is a torn ACL and that will sideline him for the rest of the 2022 season.
What remains to be seen is how long it could keep Murray out for the 2023 campaign as the injury takes a long rehab.
Colt McCoy replayed Murray in the loss to the Patriots and the journeyman veteran should be the starter for Arizona going forward.
