The Arizona Cardinals currently have the third overall pick in the 2023 NFL draft. The first round begins Thursday night at 8 p.m. ET (5 p.m. Arizona time).
The Cardinals are actively shopping the pick, hoping to move back in exchange for additional draft selections.
They have options.
According to ESPN’s Dianna Russini, the Cardinals have offers from multiple teams they are mulling.
Any deal likely will not happen until they are on the clock after the Houston Texans make their pick.
ESPN’s Adam Schefter previously reported that the Cardinals had at least six teams inquire about trading up to the No. 3 pick.
Among those teams is reportedly the Tennessee Titans, who are exploring a trade up to the third pick targeting Ohio State quarterback C.J. Stroud, should the Texans not pick him second overall.
Other teams that make sense are the Indianapolis Colts (pick No. 4), Las Vegas Raiders (pick No. 7) and Atlanta Falcons (pick no. 8). NFL Network’s Daniel Jeremiah predicted the Texans would trade up from the 12th pick to pick third, giving them consecutive selections.
