The Arizona Cardinals lost ground in the 2024 NFL draft. They beat the Pittsburgh Steelers for their third win of the season and the Houston Texans won their seventh.
As a result, looking at the updated NFL draft order entering Week 14, the Cardinals hold the third overall pick and also the 18th.
Last week, they had the second and the 17th.
The Cardinals have the Texans’ first-round selection because of a draft-day trade this year.
In the top three, the Cardinals will likely be able to select the player they want, assuming they won’t want a quarterback.
Here is what the top 10 in the draft looks like entering Week 14:
- Chicago Bears (from 1-11 Panthers)
- New England Patriots (2-10)
- Arizona Cardinals (3-10)
- Washington Commanders (4-9)
- Chicago Bears (4-8, .455 strength of schedule)
- New York Giants (4-8, .476 strength of schedule)
- Tennessee Titans (4-8, .5707 strength of schedule
- New York Jets (4-8, .528 strength of schedule)
- New Orleans Saints (5-7, .451 strength of schedule)
- Las Vegas Raiders (5-7, .486 strength of schedule)
