Cardinals’ franchise value increases but falls in NFL rankings

NFL franchises are absolute moneymakers. The make millions of dollars every year and increase in value. The Arizona Cardinals are included. However, compared to the other 31 NFL franchises, they are among the bottom of the league in team value.

According to Sportico’s valuation rankings of all 32 NFL teams, the Cardinals rank only 29th in the NFL and fell three spots in one year.

They are worth $4.85 billion.

They rank only ahead of the New Orleans Saints ($4.79 billion), Jacksonville Jaguars ($4.76 billion) and Cincinnati Bengals ($4.71 billion).

That said, they aren’t losing value. The franchise increased in value by 16% in the last year.

Of the 32 teams, 26 are worth at least $5 billion. The Dallas Cowboys top the league in franchise value at $10.32 billion, beating the next valuable team, the Los Angeles Rams, by more than $2 billion.
