A lot has been made about Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray deleting all but two of his posts on Instagram. People are wondering — is he sending a message? Is he unhappy about his contract? Does he want a trade? Is he just rebranding?
It is all speculation, but the Cardinals have actually followed suit.
Since Murray deleted all but two Instagram posts, the team’s social media manager did the same thing with the team’s Instagram account.
The only two posts on Murray’s account are one after he won the Heisman Trophy and one post with multiple photos from the Pro Bowl.
Now the only two posts on the Cardinals’ account is one post from when Murray was drafted first overall in 2019 and the same Pro Bowl post Murray has.
It’s a good move by the social media team. It suggests that what Murray did is no big deal. Maybe it never was.
But now the Cardinals stand with Murray on Instagram in solidarity.
Two accounts, two posts.
