Lloyd Williams will reach his 250 for Cardiff this weekend with yet another hugely significant landmark still in his sights.
Williams will line up at scrum-half when his club take on CA Brive in the European Challenge Cup clash at the Arms Park on Saturday (5.30pm).
It was back in 2010 when he made his Cardiff debut.
Since then he has represented both Cardiff and Wales with distinction, commanding immense respect with his fitness, tactical awareness and mastery of the basics.
His 250th outing takes him to within five of Taufa’ao Filise’s record Cardiff tally in the modern era.

He teams up with Jarrod Evans as Dai Young welcomes back his international contingent, with Josh Adams starting and Dillon Lewis, Taulupe Faletau, Tomos Williams and Rhys Priestland figuring on the bench.
In-the-news Max Llewellyn figures at No. 12 alongside Rey Lee-Lo.
The hard-running and hugely promising youngster is set to leave Wales for a switch to England. He has made his call amid the turmoil engulfing Welsh rugby, with the four professional teams unable to negotiate fresh contracts.
Cardiff Director of Rugby, Dai Young said: “It’s great to be back at the Arms Park and we’re looking forward to getting our European campaign underway.
“We have a little bit of confidence and have been boosted by the return of our internationals but Brive pose a significant threat.
“They may sit at the bottom of the TOP14 but they are a massive club with great tradition and going into a new competition they have nothing to lose, the pressure is off and they can give it a crack.
“We will need to be at our best to ensure we do not fall victims to that. The pressure is on us and we have to rise to the occasion.”
