Ryan Allsop 5
Beaten at his near post for Tom Bradshaw's goal, but then stopped a good low shot from the Welshman later on. Stopped a late shot from Jamie Shackleton at point-blank range near the end, too.
Perry Ng 5
Played better when Cardiff dropped to a back three in the second half. Cardiff still need him to find his best form though.
Mark McGuinness 7 (star man)
A welcome return for the centre-back. Brought everything you'd want including aerial presence and a cool assuredness. Slid in to deny George Hoineyman a certain goal, putting it over his own crossbar.
Cedric Kipre 4
Just looked like he was having an off day early on before he allowed Bradshaw around the back to poke home. A big error. Ultimately proved decisive.
Callum O'Dowda 6
Bombed up and down that left-hand side and really wanted to get forward. Put in a couple of decent crosses and never gave up.
Ryan Wintle 5
Another who looked a little off-colour early on. Just been a little out of sorts of late, Cardiff need him back at the races.
Andy Rinomhota 6
A decent start from the midfielder. Got his foot in and broke play up at times.
Jaden Philogene 4
Him and Ojo both very similar. Looked good at times and beat their men, but that final moment they were just lacking.
Sheyi Ojo 4
See above.
Callum Robinson 6
Always gets into good areas but made so many errors when in important positions. Better after the break, smashed one shot from 20 yards just wide of the post.
Kion Etete 4
Just didn't happen for him. Struggled to hold up the ball and couldn't get on the edge of the myriad cross into the box. Put in a couple of crunching challenges though and smacked a decent effort just after the break.
SUBS
Joe Ralls (Wintle 69) 5 - Put in a couple of decent crosses in and at least tried to move Cardiff up the pitch, if not always succeeding.
Isaak Davies (Ojo 69) 4 - Didn't have a massive impact. Was shoved over by Jake Cooper and didn't affect the game after that.
