Pompey yet to make Whyte contact
The News down in Portsmouth report that Pompey have yet to open formal talks with out-of-contract Cardiff winger Gavin Whyte.
The Northern Irishman is leaving south Wales this summer having never really been given a crack of the whip in a Bluebirds shirt.
Long-time admirers Portsmouth have now been served with a warning, with The News stating "other clubs have made enquires about the Northern Ireland international as competition for the 27-year-old gathers pace".

Oxford United would likely be in that conversation after Whyte's loan spell with The U's.
A window of opportunity between international breaks later this month is likely to present itself to interested parties.
The same outlet report that a move to Fratton Park would appeal to Whyte.
Kaba posts Cardiff highlights reel
Sory Kaba has posted a video on his Twitter page of his best moments in a Cardiff shirt.
The striker was a hit during his time in the Welsh capital, having joined on loan in January. The frontman, who came from FC Midtjylland, scored eight goals in 17 games for the Bluebirds and was one of the big reasons they beat the drop.
Along with the video of his goals, he included the praying and strong arm emojis, which has got supporters dreaming of a return to Cardiff City Stadium next season.
The video could also be a riposte to the news he was left out of the latest Guinean squad for their upcoming AFCON qualifier against Egypt and friendly against Brazil. But let's dare to dream, shall we?
Cardiff would love to bring the attacker back next term but they remain under a partial transfer embargo at present, meaning they cannot pay a fee for players.
Pato offered new Owls deal
Former Cardiff man Callum Paterson has been offered a new deal at newly promoted Sheffield Wednesday.
The Bluebirds will face the Owls next season after Darren Moore's side beat Barnsley in the League One play-off final last weekend.
Paterson is out of contract at Hillsborough and nearly made the switch back to his native Scotland in January, with Hearts interested in the utility man.
But Wednesday have now confirmed fresh terms have been offered to Paterson, who could yet return to Cardiff City Stadium next season with the Owls.
