Morison gives verdict on signing free agents
Steve Morison is not considering dipping into the free agent market and insists it's about getting the best out of the players currently at his disposal.
Callum Robinson because the 17th and final signing of a whirlwind summer in the Welsh capital, with the Bluebirds having to rebuild a squad from scratch.
And, on the surface, it looks like City have all the bases covered. And that is how Morison views it, too, it seems. "It's not something we have looked at or thought about," Morison said when asked his views on signing free agents.
"We will go with what we have got. We have got a decent, well-rounded squad with the ability to do different things and play different players and manage players accordingly.
"It's about keeping this group fit, ready and hungry and working hard on the training ground. Hopefully the outcomes will come on the pitch."

Bacuna wanted abroad
Leandro Bacuna is reportedly wanted by Greek club Panathinaikos.
The former Aston Villa, Reading and Bluebirds midfielder, who was bombed out of Cardiff's squad at the turn of the year before being released at the end of his contract in the summer, has been training with his brother's side, Birmingham City, in recent weeks.
Blues boss John Eustace confirmed he had been training with the Midlands club, but kept his distance when probed over a potential deal for the player.
However, The Sun now report that Panathinaikos could make a move for the 31-year-old.
Vincent Tan issues statement
Cardiff owner Vincent Tan has issued a statement regarding the passing of the Queen.
The club issued its own statement regarding Her Majesty's passing on Friday and now Tan has spoken to express his own sadness and condolences.
Tan said: "It is with profound sadness that we learned in Malaysia of the news of the passing of Her Majesty The Queen Elizabeth II.
"On behalf of Cardiff City Football Club and my family based in Malaysia and London, I would like to convey my deepest condolences to the Royal Family. Our thoughts are with them, in addition to all those grieving throughout the United Kingdom, the Realms and the Commonwealth. Malaysia and the United Kingdom share a rich history together; we have the utmost respect for the Royal Family, and we mourn their great loss at this sad time.
"May Her Majesty’s soul rest in eternal peace and may she be accorded the highest place in heaven.
"Sincerely, Tan Sri Vincent Tan Chee Yioun."
EFL detail tributes to Queen ahead of matches
Cardiff take on Middlesbrough at the Riverside Stadium at 7.45pm on Tuesday, September 13, with the fixture being confirmed by the EFL on Monday morning after last weekend's encounter with Hull City was postponed due to the passing on the Queen.
In a statement on Monday, the EFL detailed the tributes which would be paid to the Queen, stating: "The EFL fixture programme will return as scheduled from Tuesday 13 September, with tributes to be paid to Her late Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II at grounds around the country.
"A minute’s silence will be held before matches, with black armbands to be worn by participants, flags to be flown at half-mast and the National Anthem to be played in stadiums.
"With a national policing plan now in operation, the League and Clubs will continue to work with forces in respect of any challenges that may emerge regarding policing of specific fixtures.
"Consideration to individual circumstances will be made on a case-by-case basis, in line with standard match Safety Advisory Group (SAG) protocols."
