Earnie: Cardiff should go 'all out' to sign Rambo
Robert Earnshaw believes Cardiff City should go "all out" to sign Aaron Ramsey this summer and believes the Wales captain has already made up his mind regarding his next destination.
Ramsey, 32, sees his contract at Nice expire at the end of the month. However, it is understood he has played enough games for the French club this season to trigger a one-year extension clause.
However, nothing has yet been announced pertaining to where Ramsey will play his football next season. While on Wales duty on Monday he cast doubt over where his future lies. He was also asked directly about links with Cardiff City, which you can read about here, and Earnshaw believes the Bluebirds should capitalise on the uncertainty and snap him up this summer.

"Cardiff City should absolutely try and get him," he told the BBC. "He is a great, great player. I've played with him, so I know his qualities and who he is, he would contribute to Cardiff City. I think it would be an amazing move, but it's got to be a decision for him and his family.
"I know, being another Caerphilly boy, that he is, his decision is going to be very personal, because of the stage of the career he is at. But a Cardiff City move would be brilliant.
"I think they should absolutely go all out because, number one, he is brilliant and would help the club. Number two, he is brilliant. Number three, how beautiful it is that he would come full circle, kind of like I did, come back to Cardiff City after being away for so long and enjoy being at home at Cardiff City."
Earnshaw added: "It's going to be a big decision, a big few weeks. I think he has pretty much made up his mind."
Meanwhile, bookmaker DragonBet have Ramsey at 4/9 to return to his boyhood club. Read the full story here.
Rodrigues joins Oxford United
Cardiff City-linked striker Ruben Rodrigues has joined Oxford United after leaving Notts County.
Cardiff, Oxford, Derby County, Portsmouth and Barnsley were all credited with an interest in Rodrigues, 26, after he contributed to 34 goals for the Magpies as they achieved promotion into League Two.
Rodrigues scored 19 goals and provided 15 assists for the Meadow Lane outfit, and he has scored 35 league goals across two seasons for County, prompting glances from teams higher up in the football pyramid.
While it was understood the forward was someone Cardiff were aware of and they had been to watch him play, he was not described as an active target this summer. Oxford, however, were far more serious and the League One side have nabbed their man.
“It’s an exciting move for me," Rodrigues said. "I loved my time at Notts County, and last season was amazing, but this is a chance to test myself at a higher level. The way that the coach wants to play is similar to the way I like to play. The training facilities are great, the club has big ambitions, and I can’t wait to get started.”
Two more Bluebirds players leave
Two more Cardiff City youngsters have been released by the club. After it was announced that four senior pros and five academy players had left the club last Friday, the Bluebirds have announced that two more under-21s have also departed.
Lennon Peake, who signed half-way through the season after leaving West Ham, exits, while Sebastian Kristensen, who was signed after leaving Everton last summer, also leaves. Peake was a bit-part player for Darren Purse in the under-21s in the final few months of the season, while Kristensen endured a torrid, injury-hit stay in south Wales.
Sang: Cardiff coach helped in Port Vale move
Tom Sang said he loved working under Dean Whitehead at Cardiff and the coach helped him with his decision to move to Port Vale.
Many feel the versatile Sang, who can play central midfield or at right-back, never quite got enough of a crack at Cardiff, with his toe injury scuppering his progress and Steve Morison, under whom he was cast aside, being appointed manager at the wrong time.
But there are few doubts that Sang will flourish in League One with Port Vale. Indeed, Whitehead, who worked as a coach at Port Vale last year, only had good things to say about the club and its manager Andy Crosby.
"I spoke to him, Deano really helped me with my development, I loved working under him at Cardiff," Sang said after signing. "I spoke to him on the phone before joining and he had only really good things to say and I have a lot of trust in him. And since the meeting, we've seen what he has said was true."
Whether Whitehead sticks around at Cardiff is still up in the air, with it understood that it is likely he will join Valerien Ismael's coaching staff at Watford. A number of players, however, have spoken about his positive impact in the background and Sang's words are also testament to that.
