Cardiff City could be missing up to five players when they play host to Leeds United in the FA Cup third round on Sunday afternoon.
Mahlon Romeo underwent a scan on a hamstring injury on Thursday and could be set to miss four to six weeks. Callum Robinson is unavailable due to illness, while Gavin Whyte and Cedric Kipre have also been ill this week, as a bug has swept through the Cardiff camp.
The game against Leeds will likely come too soon for Kion Etete. The forward has been out for the last two games with a hamstring injury and Hudson admits it's 'unlikely' that he will return to action on Sunday.
"Kion will be his first day on the grass tomorrow, it took longer than we thought, with a slight hamstring strain. He is unlikely to be seen against Leeds," Hudson revealed.

"Robbo [Callum Robinson] is off ill and under the weather, unlikely you’ll see him. Gav [Gavin Whyte] has been ill, Cedric [Kipre] has been ill. Mahlon [Romeo] has had a scan on his hamstring and he could be four to six weeks out.
"There’s a lot that’s been going around. They have pushed themselves to the limit. When your body is empty you’ll likely pick up some bugs. Robbo has been off since the game."
Hudson received an angry response from Robinson when he was substituted in the 66th minute of Cardiff's 1-0 defeat at Blackburn Rovers on New Year's Day.
But the former defender revealed that Robinson had not trained before the game, and therefore didn't want to risk him.
"He didn’t train before the game, we weren’t sure he would make the game before it. The way he was and the way the pitch was, if we played him longer we might have lost him for longer," Hudson said.
"I understand his frustration, he wants to make a difference, but you can’t if you’re out for four to six weeks."
Left-back Jamilu Collins is still a long-term absentee, after he ruptured his Anterior Cruciate Ligament in just his fourth appearance for the Bluebirds in August.
