Here's your round-up of all the latest Cardiff City headlines for Monday, April 4.
Tan not ready to sell Bluebirds
Vincent Tan is not actively looking to sell Cardiff City, despite suggestions of takeover interest.
The Daily Telegraph has reported three investors have shown an interest in taking the club off the hands of the Malaysian businessman, adding that there is some confidence that Tan will soon be ready to sell up. However, club insiders have told WalesOnline that Tan, as things stand, remains committed to the Bluebirds.
Enquiries over a purchase of the club have taken place from several interested parties, with Cardiff believed to be an attractive proposition for some investors. The identity of any interested parties remains unknown, but one of them is believed to have shown an interest in a number of other Championship sides.

There is a belief that Cardiff are an attractive proposition for potential buyers, but at the time of writing, the club is not considered to be for sale, although that's not to say the landscape couldn't change. If an offer was to come in for the Bluebirds that was too good to turn down, Tan could well be tempted to change his mind.
On the whole, the situation remains largely the same as it was when when Tan was quizzed on a potential sale back in 2017. "For the record, I have no plans to sell any of the clubs, but if I am offered the right price, I will certainly consider," he said at the time.
"I am in no rush to sell CCFC, but if I am offered the right price by the right person who I believe will be able to take the club to a higher level, I will certainly consider selling. I have said before that if I leave CCFC, I want to leave it in good hands. I have been approached on numerous occasions by parties wanting to buy CCFC but the prices offered have not been right."
All of that was before the financial impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, of course, which has hit Tan's business empire hard, further fuelling speculation that he could be ready to cash in. There has also been a sizeable impact from several high-profile court cases too. However, while the club's summer plans are likely to include some serious cost-cutting, sources inside the club have stressed that Tan's commitment remains intact - for the time being at least.
Smithies attracting Nottingham forest interest
Alex Smithies is among those who could be facing a Cardiff exit this summer.
Smithies is one of 10 senior stars out of contract at the end of the season, and despite being a first team regular under Morison this season, it seems he could yet be moved on at the end of this current deal. The goalkeeper is believed to be one of the higher earners at the club, and his wages may well exceed the new financial structure that's poised to be introduced this summer.
Indeed, out of all the players set to see their deals run out this summer, Joe Ralls is currently the most likely to agree terms. Smithies is understood to have a number of admirers, including Championship rivals Nottingham Forest, who are flying under former Swansea City boss Steve Cooper.
Cardiff could face Drameh competition
Cardiff City could face competition if they want to bring Cody Drameh back to the club next season.
The Leeds United loanee has proved a big hit in the capital since his arrival in January, and has already established himself as a key man under Steve Morison. He was perhaps the only player to emerge with any real credit following the hammering at the hands of the Swans at the weekend, and there's clearly some enthusiasm within the club to keep him on board for another season.
Keeping the 20-year-old would be a huge boost for the Bluebirds, but there are no guarantees over any potential return. Indeed, the player's form has attracted admiring glances from others in the Premier League and elsewhere in the Championship.
A decision over his future is unlikely to be made until Leeds meet up for pre-season this summer, with Jesse Marsch likely to assess his options ahead of the new campaign. Reports in West Yorkshire suggest Drameh may well be keen on receiving some assurances over playing time if he's to stay at Elland Road.
