Cardiff City have announced their second signing of the summer, Dimitrios Goutas.
The Bluebirds have been after another central defender following the departure of West Brom loanee Cedric Kipre, who was a rock at the back for City last term.
And they have snared their man, and a giant of a man at that, in the form of Greece international Goutas, who signs as a free agent after his time at Turkish top-flight club Sivasspor came to an end last week.

It comes after Erol Bulut's first signing, Ike Ugbo on loan from French club Troyes, was completed on Tuesday afternoon.
Speaking about his move to the Welsh capital, 29-year-old Goutas said: "I’m very excited to be here. From the first day I came here, I’ve felt warmth from everybody. I’m happy to join the team, and I will give my best to achieve our goals.
“I can’t wait to train with the team and help with my experience. I will always give 100% and try to help the young players – that’s why I’m here.
“I can’t wait to learn to more about the Championship. I’m looking forward to meeting the squad, working with them and getting better day by day.”
Bulut now expects signings to ramp up. The Bluebirds have got two over the line, with winger Chidera Ejuke another target and the question of a sensational homecoming for Aaron Ramsey simply not going away.
Bulut said of the transfer: “Dimitri has a lot of experience. He has played for Olympiacos and the Greek national team, and he had two good seasons in Turkey with Sivasspor.
“He can organise from the back and he is a good size for the Championship. He also has good speed, so I think he will be a very useful player for our style.
“He is one of those people who is really dangerous in the air and can score goals from set pieces, which will be very good for us.”
The defender comes with a wealth of experience already under his belt, having played for Olympiacos, KV Kortrijk, Lech Poznan and Sint-Truiden, along with international caps for Greece. He has 22 goals to his name so far in his career.
Bulut added: "I hope we can get him back in the national team. Because he did really well, some good work, with Sivasspor. We played against each other and I know him well from there.
"He is quite good in defence. He is organised, good on the ball. He is good in the air. He has scored a lot of goals from set pieces. That is also important for us. We are training on set pieces, so we need these kinds of players. When the game is tired and you can't create chances, you have to do it from set pieces."
