Cardiff Castle is welcoming many artists over the Jubilee bank holiday weekend including Madness and Irish singer-songwriter Dermot Kennedy - read everything you need to know about Dermot's gig here. On Saturday, June, 4 Cardiff Castle will be hosting their Platinum Jubilee Celebration Concert.
Many famous Welsh acts will be performing including Bonnie Tyler and Mike Peters. Aled Jones and Shan Cothi will be hosting the concert as they celebrate 70 years since Queen Elizabeth's coronation.

When is the Platinum Jubilee Celebration Concert?
The concert is taking place on Saturday, June, 4. The concert starts at 3.30pm and the live concert will finish at 7pm.
Then it will be over to the big screens in the castle grounds to watch “Concert from the Palace” live from Buckingham Palace. The event will finish at 10.30pm.
Can I still get tickets?
There are still tickets available to buy for the Platinum Jubilee Celebration Concert. You can still get tickets on TicketSource and tickets are £32.50 plus a £3.25 booking fee. Under 16s go free with an accompanying adult however you still have to select a free ticket on the website to claim this deal.
Who is performing?
Singer Aled Jones and singer-songwriter and presenter Shan Cothi will be hosting the evening. Welsh legend Bonnie Tyler will be performing as will John Owen Jones, while Owain Wyn Evans will be drumming away alongside performances from Mike Doyle, the Pendyrus Male Voice Choir, and the Welsh Pops Orchestra.
There will also be a Welsh interpretation of The Nutcracker from Rubicon Dance Company and the concert is promising performances of some of the best Welsh classics, telling audiences to expect amazing arrangements of the hits of Tom Jones, Shirley Bassey, and Shakin Stevens.
Will there be road closures?
There will be road closures around the castle to allow crowds to disperse at the end of the concert. Castle Street, Duke Street, and Kingsway will be closed from 10pm to 11pm and closures could be brought forward if needed.
Where can I park?
There are a number of council-owned car parks which cater for 24-hour parking. A few examples include Sophia Gardens Car Park, which charges 24 hours a day and costs up to £17.60 for the full day. There's also Castle Mews Car Park which charges between 8am and 8pm Monday to Saturday and costs up to £6.10 for five hours, and North Road Car Park, which costs £8.80 for a full day (until midnight that evening) - its charging hours are Monday to Sunday between 8am and 6pm.
