Cardi B has created an OnlyFans account that will contain behind the scenes content from her “WAP” music video shoot.
The UK-based site allows sex workers, pornstars, influencers and ordinary members of the public to share pictures and videos directly with subscribers. It has 44 million users worldwide.
The rapper said she will use OnlyFans to "address ongoing rumours, share glimpses into her personal life, connect closer with her fans, and much more”, according to a press release.
The news comes in the wake of Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion’s hit single “WAP”, which has been condemned by numerous conservative politicians for its explicitly sexual lyrics.
Right-wing pundit Ben Shapiro’s criticism of the song was recently made into a remix.
His comments were widely ridiculed, including by Cardi B herself, who retweeted images of Waylon Smithers, a character from The Simpsons, covering his eyes as half-naked women cavort in front of him.
