Manchester United booked their place in the quarter-finals of the Carabao Cup for the third time in the last four seasons with a 2-0 win over Burnley at Old Trafford on Wednesday night.
Goals either side of half-time from Christian Eriksen and Marcus Rashford sealed a routine win for the Reds, meaning they avoided falling on the unwanted side of a cup upset.
But after Eriksen's opener in the first half, Rashford made sure of the victory with an outstanding solo goal shortly before the hour mark. The win means United have joined five other already confirmed Premier League clubs in the hat for the quarter-final draw.

The draw will be made following the conclusion of the final tie of the round between Manchester City and Liverpool at the Etihad Stadium on Thursday evening. Regardless of the winner of that clash, seven Premier League clubs and League One side Charlton Athletic, who dumped Brighton & Hove Albion out of the competition on penalties on Wednesday evening, will make up the draw.
Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham had already crashed out of the competition prior to the fourth round, meaning United will be one of just two members of the Premier League's traditional 'big six' to feature in the draw. The Reds are now considered as one of the favourites to win the Carabao Cup this season and end their trophy drought.
It means that United, should they avoid the winner of the clash between City and Liverpool, will enter their quarter-final fixture as the favourite to come out on top, regardless of who they are up against, although there is nothing to say that it would be easy. Ahead of the real draw taking place, MEN Sport ran a quick simulator of the draw and here are the results:
Simulated Carabao Cup quarter-final draw:
Charlton Athletic vs Newcastle United
Manchester City/Liverpool vs Leicester City
Wolves vs Nottingham Forest
Manchester United vs Southampton
The real draw, should the clash between City and Liverpool not require a penalty shootout, will take place at around 22:00 GMT and will be shown live on Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Football.
