Cara Delevingne made £7.2m despite 'erratic' behaviour that 'sparked intervention'

Supermodel and actress Cara Delevingne raked it in last year, despite her 'erratic' behaviour and some concerning episodes that reportedly led her family to intervene.

The 30-year-old made a reported £7.2million from various companies and work she carried out last year.

The model is a regular face for brands such as Burberry, Tag Heuer, YSL Beauty and others. She's also reportedly worth a massive $50 million, earned from over decade of fame with her successful career in modelling.

One income stream is from her dividends from her modelling firm Cara & Co, which she runs with her dad, Charles. Companies House records indicate the business has £40million in reserves.

The paperwork said: “The company remains profitable year on year whilst maintaining a strong balance sheet position.

“The company has established a strong brand image and continues to obtain numerous long-term modelling contracts.

“Over the past few years the company has begun to establish itself within the acting and film industry which, initially is less remunerative.”

However, it also admitted: “Risk of reputation rising from negative publicity . . . may result in a loss of contracts and thus reduction in revenue.”

That last clause could cause issues, as Cara's behaviour has been described as 'erratic' lately.

The model boarded rapper Jay-Z 's private plane but reportedly left after 45 minutes and was then filmed acting erratically while walking outside without shoes on. She was also a no show at her own New York launch for a fashion collaboration with late designer Karl Lagerfeld. The MailOnline reported at the time that she was “nowhere in sight” for the launch.

Just two weeks ago, fellow star Margot Robbie looked visibly upset as she left Cara’s LA home, having been to visit the British model.

A family friend told The Sun earlier this month: “We are all incredibly concerned. The situation has been building for a few weeks now, and Cara's family is involved.

“There is talk of staging some kind of intervention and making sure Cara gets the help she may well need.”

They added: “She has been burning the candle at both ends of late, and it's clearly taking its toll. The consensus is that she needs a few weeks of total rest — no booze, no partying and, crucially, some healthy, hot meals inside her."

Despite not attending the New York launch for her collab with Karl Lagerfeld for new line Cara Loves Karl, she did manage to promote it during Paris Fashion Week. The Paper Towns actress was pictured looking stunning on the red carpet, after family had reportedly intervened to address her erratic episodes.

Cara posed for cameras wearing a bold red lip with her hair in loose waves. She stylishly modelled one of a low cut mini dress with cross design over her chest to the collaboration with the late Karl Lagerfeld's eponymous fashion label.

Her little black dress was cinched in at the waist with a black belt and Cara accessorised the look with matching knee-high boots.
