Gardai carrying out a checkpoint in Dublin recently came across a car with an absurd sign on its windscreen.
Officers got suspicious after they spotted a dodgy looking HSE Urgent Blood Delivery sign on the glass.
Upon further inspection, the sign was found to be fake.

Things then went from bad to worse for the driver, who was pretending to work for the HSE.
Gardai went on to find that the car had no NCT since January 2021, so they seized the vehicle.
Posting about the bizarre incident on social media, gardai said: “The North Central Roads Policing Unit carried out a checkpoint recently on Spencer Dock Bridge.
“The driver of this vehicle pretended to work for the HSE and stuck a fake 'Urgent Blood Delivery' sign to their screen.
“The vehicle has had no NCT since Jan 2021. Vehicle seized.”
The post left people divided with some praising gardai for their good work, while others saw the funny side, Dublin Live reports.
AA Ireland were shocked by the fake sign, replying: "The bloody cheek".
However others made jokes, with one person writing: "I'd say their blood is boiling now".
Others noticed a box of latex gloves on the dashboard beside the sign, which may have also been part of the con. One person said: "The box of examination gloves on the dash for additional credibility…"
