Car wash plans for vacant South Ayrshire site

Plans are in place to turn a vacant piece of land in an Ayrshire town into a car wash.

A planning application has been submitted seeking permission to transform a patch of land in Whitletts Road, Ayr.

The applicant, Mr Hemen Mohamadi, has identified the land at 168 Whitletts Road for the business venture and hopes to get the green light.

Under the proposals, there would be car parking valeting bays, two green-coloured storage containers for equipment and one-way in, one-way out configuration.

The plans has been listed as ‘pending consideration’ on South Ayrshire Council’s online planning portal.

It’s understood the now vacant land was previously used as a petrol station.
