A car was torched in a late-night incident on a Lanarkshire street launching a police probe.
The incident happened at around 12.10am on Marleyhill Avenue in Stonehouse on Friday, November 11 with firefighters tackling the blaze.
Residents were shocked to wake up to the burnt out car, Lanarkshire Live reports with police officers on the scene as an investigation was launched.

One resident said : "It's worrying that something like this can happen in your own street.
"It's a quiet road and there's never any problems so it's quite concerning.
"Hopefully the police find out what happened as soon as possible."
Officers confirmed the fire is being treated as deliberate, with enquiries still ongoing.
A Police Scotland spokesperson told Lanarkshire Live : “We received a report of a car on fire on Marleyhill Avenue, Stonehouse, around 12.10am on Friday morning.
“The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service attended and extinguished the fire. There were no reports of any injuries.
“The fire is being treated as wilful and enquiries are ongoing.”
