A car smashed into four parked vehicles on a Scots road before the driver fled the scene this morning.
Police have launched a probe after the incident happened on Eastfield in Musselburgh, near Edinburgh, at around 1.25am on Saturday. Images shared with Edinburgh Live showed a silver car with the front completely crushed by the impact of the smash.
The car also appeared to have crashed into a wall outside a property on the street. Behind the silver car a number of other vehicles could be seen badly damaged while police carried out enquiries at the scene.
There is now an ongoing investigation to track down the driver who fled the scene. Thankfully there were no reported injuries at this time.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: "Around 1.25 am on Saturday February 25, police received a report a car had hit four stationary vehicles in Eastfield, Edinburgh.
"There do no appear to be any injuries and enquiries are ongoing to locate the occupants of the car after they ran off following the collision."
