A primary school principal has said he is thankful no one was injured after a car ploughed through the school railings and onto the pitch.
It is understood the driver of the vehicle took unwell and that a passenger in the vehicle tried to take control of the wheel before it went off the road and into the railings of the North Belfast school to avoid oncoming traffic.
Speaking to Belfast Live, principal of Holy Cross Boy's Primary School, Kevin McArevey said that he had been made aware of the incident after the school had closed for the day.

"I received a call telling me that a car had crashed through the wall and the railings at the bottom of our pitch," he said.
"When I arrived, I could see that a car had indeed come down Ardoyne Avenue, crashed through the wall and completely knocked down the railings at the pitch.
"Thankfully no other cars were damaged and there were no injuries in terms of pedestrians or other road users because this would be a very busy area.
"I am told that the driver took a seizure at the wheel and his foot became stuck on the accelerator. A passenger took control of the wheel and dodged other cars and people before putting the car through the wall on to the pitch."
A Northern Ireland Ambulance Service spokesperson said: "The Northern Ireland Ambulance Service received a 999 call at 17:42 on Wednesday 22 February following reports of a single vehicle RTC in the Ardoyne Avenue area of Belfast.
"NIAS despatched a Rapid Response Paramedic and an Emergency Crew to the incident.
"Both were stood down en route as the patient had left the scene and there were no patients to attend to."
