On Sunday night, a car struck and injured three pedestrians as they were leaving the Philadelphia Eagles playoff game. The incident occurred near the historic Center City area around 9:30 p.m. following the NFC championship game at Lincoln Financial Field.
According to the Philadelphia Police Department, the driver of the vehicle is in custody, and initial investigations suggest that the collision was not intentional. The victims sustained non-life-threatening injuries and are reported to be in stable condition.
The Eagles emerged victorious in the game, defeating the Washington Commanders with a score of 55-23. As a result, they have secured a spot in the upcoming Super Bowl in New Orleans on Feb. 9, where they will face the two-time defending champions, the Kansas City Chiefs.
