Emergency services were scrambled to Methil Brae footpath, in Methil, at around 7.55pm on Friday, March 25.

It is understood the motor struck a parked car before flipping onto its roof.

A photo from the scene shows the aftermath of the crash, which shows the car lying upside down outside houses in the street.

The driver is believed to have made a lucky escape, left with no serious injuries after the smash.

Police investigated the incident and confirmed there was no criminality established.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 7.55pm on Friday, 25 March, officers were called to a report of a car on its roof on Methil Brae footpath, Methil.

"Officers attended and following enquiries no criminality was established."
