A womas has been charged after a car flipped onto its roof following a crash on a busy road in Glasgow this afternoon.
Emergency services raced to the scene on Springburn Road, near the Tesco Extra superstore, at around 1.15pm on Sunday.
Police attended and a 23-year-old woman was charged with a road traffic offence.
A picture taken from the scene showed a red Vauxhall Corsa flipped at the Fountainwell Road traffic lights.
A police officer could be seen beside the vehicle, which appeared to have ploughed through the fencing.
Ambulance crews also attended but no one was injured as a result of the crash.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 1.15pm on Sunday, April 9, 2023, we were called to a report of a one-car crash on Springburn Road, near to the traffic lights with Fountainwell Road.
"There were no reported injuries. A 23-year-old woman has been charged with a road traffic offence and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal."
