Car 'flips onto its side' after crash in Aberdeen as emergency services race to scene

A car reportedly flipped onto its side after a crash in Aberdeen. Emergency services rushed to Camperdown Road at around 6.55pm on Wednesday, 11 January, following reports of a one-car crash on the residential street.

Images show ambulance, fire and police units at the scene. The driver, a woman, was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary as a precaution. Her condition is not believed to be serious.

Local reports said the car had flipped onto its side after the crash. Authorities have closed the road to allow the vehicle to be recovered.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 6.55pm on Wednesday, 11 January, police were called to a report of a road crash involving one car on Camperdown Road, Aberdeen.

“Emergency services attended and the driver, a woman, was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary to be checked over.”
