Car flips in horror Falkirk crash as woman suffers hand injuries

A woman was left with a hand injury and rushed to hospital after a car crash in Falkirk yesterday.

Police and ambulance crews raced to the accident on the B861 in the Allandale area at around 1:10pm on Sunday June, 27.

Pictures have emerged of a car laying on its side after hitting a bollard in the village.

Locals in the village rushed to help the driver, who thankfully wasn't too badly injured.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 1.20 pm on Sunday, 27 June 2021, police received a report of a one vehicle road traffic collision at Antonine Gate, Allandale, Bonnybridge.

"The female driver sustained a hand injury and the Scottish Ambulance Service were called."
