Car driving with door and boot 'wide open' after crash stopped in Livingston

A driver was reported late last night (March 19) after being stopped by police for driving their car with the boot wide open on the A801 in West Lothian.

Not only was the boot not closed, but the driver-side door was also open due to damage from a previous collision. The driver had used Parcel tape in an attempt to keep the door shut but to no success.

Police Scotland confirmed the incident on social media last night. The post reads: "Livingston Road Police officers stopped an Audi RS3 on the A801 as it was being driven with the boot wide open.
