A quiet residential street in the Bishopbriggs area was cordoned off by police after a car struck a house and went on fire.
Emergency services were called to John Marshall Drive around 9.45pm on Tuesday night following the frightening incident.
Firefighters brought the blaze under control while police carried out inquiries into the incident.

There were no reports of any injuries.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 9.45pm on Tuesday, November 15, police were called to an incident in John Marshall Drive, Glasgow where a vehicle struck a house and the vehicle went on fire.
“Police and Scottish Fire and Rescue Service attended the incident. There were no reports of any injuries.
“Enquiries are ongoing to establish the circumstances surrounding this incident and anyone with information should contact 101 with reference number 3545 of 15 November.”
