A car has crashed into a building society in a town on the Nottinghamshire border. Pictures show a vehicle shattered the window of a branch of The Nottingham on Bath Street, Ilkeston, on Saturday, December 17.
As reported by Derbyshire Live, local residents have claimed bystanders were forced to move out of the way of the silver Suzuki hatchback, which seems to have come from the Club Row car park on nearby Gregory Street. No injuries have been reported at this time, with residents suggesting the driver was not inside the car during the collision.
Officers from Derbyshire police and crews from Derbyshire Fire and Rescue Service are currently at the scene. The area has been cordoned off, with broken glass on the footpath surrounding the building society.
