A driver has been taken to hospital after crashing their car into an Asda supermarket.
The shock incident happened at the Blantyre store on Glasgow Road shortly before 11am this morning (January 26).
Firefighters were alerted to the scene alongside police and ambulance crews as workers and customers at the store rushed to the aid of the driver, the Daily Record reports.
A photo from the scene shows a section of the supermarket wall missing following the collision, with the surrounding area cordoned off.

Witnesses report seeing the driver receive treatment from paramedics at the scene, although police say that the driver does not appear to have been seriously injured.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "We were called to a one vehicle road crash Glasgow Road, Blantyre at 10.50am on Wednesday, January 26.
"We assisted the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service at the scene. "There do not appear to be any serious injuries."
The crash also forced a small section of the store to close alongside a number of checkouts.
An Asda spokesperson said: ‘’A small section of our store has been closed following a collision earlier this afternoon.
"At around 11am the emergency service workers were called following quick action by colleagues and customers at our Blantyre store, and we would like to thank them for their efforts to ensure the safety of the parties involved in the collision.
"A small number of our checkouts remain closed and we would like to thank customers for their understanding whilst we work to get these back up and running.’’
A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokeswoman said: “We were alerted at 10.45am on Wednesday, January 26 to reports of one car which had collided with a building on Glasgow Road, Blantyre.
“Operations Control mobilised two appliances and firefighters assisted emergency service partners at the scene. One casualty was in the care of the Scottish Ambulance Service and crews left after ensuring the area was safe.”
