A car burst into flames on a busy Cork road this afternoon.
Motorists are being advised to take extra care and use an alternative route where possible.
Emergency services continue to deal with the incident which happened on the N40, near the south exit of the Jack Lynch Tunnel.
Dramatic pictures show lots of smoke and the car engulfed in flames.

It is understood that the driver is safe, Cork Beo reports.
Gardai closed the N40 southbound after the Jack Lynch Tunnel for a time.
As of 2.30pm, one lane of traffic reopened with the fire now under control.
Traffic is currently heavy through the tunnel and on Dunkettle.
The M8 coming into Cork city also has a long queue while the N25 city-bound is also seeing some delays.
Both roads are flowing freely in the other direction.
