Car bursts into flames in Scots ASDA car park as fire crews race to scene

A car burst into flames in a Scots Asda car park this afternoon.

Fire crews raced to the supermarket on Rothes Drive in Maryhill, Glasgow, after the alarm was raised at around 4.40pm on Saturday. Pictures taken from the scene showed firefighters battling the blaze as smoke could be seen billowing up into the sky.

As reported by Glasgow Live, the car has been reduced to a shell after the fire engulfed the vehicle. The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service quickly sent one appliance to the scene before crews extinguished the blaze.
