Pre-orders are now available for Capcom Fighting Collection 2. The main bonus for this is an exclusive comic book that fans of the franchise will absolutely enjoy.
The game was originally revealed during the Nintendo Direct in August 2024. It is now available for pre-order at several retailers for PlayStation 4 and the Nintendo Switch. Capcom Fighting Collection 2 does not yet have an official release date.
Capcom Fighting Collection 2 Pre-Order
However, during the Nintendo Direct, it was revealed that the game would be coming sometime in 2025. Pre-orders for the game are currently available for $39.99 and include a variety of bonuses for fans.
Capcom Fighting Collection 2 features a total of eight classic fighting games that have been given several new features. Arguably the more notable ones are Capcom vs SNK and its sequel and Street Fighter Alpha 3 Upper.
Fans of the franchise can also get their hands on an exclusive bonus for pre-ordering Capcom Fighting Collection 2. This is a copy of a Capcom vs SNK comic, which is a similar bonus to Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics, according to IGN.
The upcoming games collection brings back the iconic titles that were originally released on consoles such as the Dreamcast and PlayStation between 1998 and 2004. Every single game in the package has been updated to include a variety of new features.
Exclusive Comic Book Bonus
There is also a gallery filled with art and design documents for players to look through as well as a music player. The features include a training mode, online play, mid-game saves, and many others that make the gaming experience even better.
The Capcom vs SNK comic that is included as a pre-order bonus will only be available through the initial batch of physical copies of Capcom Fighting Collection 2.
The comic was made by Udon Entertainment in honor of the crossover series' return in the new collection, Game Spot said.
The cover art for the comic book was revealed to feature Ryu and Kyo Kusanagi up front. The two characters are then followed by Samurai Showdown's Haohmaru and Rival Schools' Kyosuke.
At the back of the cover art is Morrigan being showcased instead of Mai and Chun-Li. The reveal also confirmed that the comic book itself will have 48 pages.
This makes it relatively longer than the one that was given out for Marvel vs Capcom Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics, which was 32 pages long, according to Event Hubs.
