Cannabis plants found growing in garden of Nottinghamshire home

Nottinghamshire Police found a number of cannabis plants being grown at a residential property. Last week officers from the Rushcliffe South Neighbourhood Policing Team discovered what officers described as "large cannabis plants" being grown in the rear garden of a home in Cotgrave.

The team had acted upon information from members of the public and found cannabis plants, equipment and a quantity of other cannabis once they arrived at the address. A male has been interviewed, and he is currently under investigation for the appropriate offences, police said.

Anyone with any information regarding the cultivation and distribution of controlled drugs should contact the police by calling 101 or online through the website.
