A huge cannabis farm worth £800,000 has been discovered by police in an Ayrshire village.
The cultivation was seized from an address in Patna after officers raided a property on Monday.
Police say the plants have an estimated street value of £800,000 as they launch a probe and have appealed for information.
Detective Inspector Grant Currie, of Ayrshire pro-active CID, said: “Our enquiries into the cultivation are ongoing and I would urge anyone with any information that could assist to contact us as soon as possible.
“Police Scotland is committed to disrupting the illicit supply of drugs in our communities and we will use every tool and tactic at our disposal to remove these illegal substances from our streets.
