Police have launched an investigation after a cannabis farm was discovered at a property in Prudhoe in the early hours of this morning.
Officers had been called to a report of a burglary at a property on West Wylam Drive on April 12, however, when they went inside they came across a cannabis farm.
It has now been dismantled by officers who remain in the area carrying out enquiries.

A Northumbria Police spokeswoman said: “Police received a report of a burglary at an address on West Wylam Drive in Prudhoe in the early hours of this morning.
"When officers arrived at the address to carry out enquiries, a suspected cannabis farm was located inside the property, and later dismantled.
“An investigation has been launched and officers remain in the area carrying out enquiries and anyone with information should contact police using the ‘Tell us Something’ page on our website, quoting log NP-20230412-0014.”
