A 17-year-old Canberra boy has been granted bail after he was charged with two counts of sexual intercourse without consent, as police appeal to the public for more alleged victims to come forward.
The boy is also charged with sharing intimate images without consent and using a telecommunications service to menace.
ACT police said the charges related to alleged offences against three separate teenage girls over the past four months.
An investigation was launched after the alleged victims made complaints to police.
The boy, who is from Tuggeranong, was arrested on Saturday after detectives from the Sexual Assault and Child Abuse team searched his home.
The matter was heard in the ACT Children's Court today, where he was granted bail.
His bail conditions include not accessing any social media platforms, and not contacting or being within 100 metres of the alleged victims or his school.
He will appear in court again in December.
Police are urging any victims of sexual assault, including anyone who is aware of intimate images being shared without the subject's consent, to report these criminal activities.
