A shocking incident unfolded in Mississauga, Canada, as an 18-year-old woman, Sarah Badshaw, was arrested for a series of charges after stealing a Porsche and injuring the vehicle's owner in the process. Peel Regional Police reported that Badshaw faces charges including dangerous operation causing bodily harm, theft of a motor vehicle, failure to remain after an accident resulting in bodily harm, and driving without a license.
The incident occurred on September 6 around 2 p.m. near Winston Churchill and Eglinton Avenue. Video footage captured Badshaw pretending to be interested in purchasing a 2022 Porsche Cayenne listed on Autotrader. As she sat inside the vehicle to inspect it, she swiftly reversed, hitting the victim as she fled the scene with the stolen car.
The victim, who had exited the passenger side of the vehicle and attempted to enter the driver's side, was injured in the process. He suffered injuries to his elbow, hands, and legs, requiring medical attention. An accomplice in a gray Bentley Bentayga, parked nearby, was also involved in the theft.
The stolen Porsche was later found abandoned in Mississauga. Peel Regional Police revealed that Badshaw faces additional charges related to prior fraud offenses in the region and is wanted by other Greater Toronto Area police agencies for separate investigations.
