A Canadian woman, Sabrina Kauldhar, has been arrested and accused of killing three people in separate incidents, leading authorities to label her as a serial killer. The arrest took place at a hotel in Burlington, Ontario, following the slayings of a woman and two men in the Toronto area, as reported by the Niagara Regional Police Service.
According to Niagara Regional Police Chief Bill Fordy, Kauldhar's actions fit the definition of a serial killer, which involves two or more offenses. The alleged killing spree began on October 1 when a woman in her 60s was found dead in a Toronto home. The following day, a man was discovered critically injured at John Allan Park in Niagara Falls and later pronounced deceased despite medical efforts.
The third slaying occurred on October 3 in a Hamilton parking lot, where 77-year-old Mario Bilich, a retired teacher, was found stabbed and later died in the hospital. Investigators were able to connect the Hamilton homicide to the incidents in Niagara Falls and Toronto, linking the suspect to all three cases.
Authorities revealed that the victims in Hamilton and Niagara Falls were randomly targeted, while the Toronto victim was known to Kauldhar. The identity of the Toronto murder victim has not been disclosed publicly. Kauldhar faces charges of first-degree murder for the Hamilton killing and second-degree murder for the Toronto and Niagara slayings, according to police statements.
