There were happy children and big smiles all around at the annual Murieston Parent and Toddler Group today when Santa came to town and handed out presents.
For many years, the Leader of West Lothian Council and the local councillor, Lawrence Fitzpatrick, has brought the magic of Santa Claus to these children.
"We are delighted and very grateful that Lawrence takes time out of his busy schedule to play a major role in our toddlers party’ said Boyd Glen, the Secretary of Livingston South Community Church.
"The group which is drawn from Murieston and further afield is supported by the Church.
"Church members volunteer to provide snacks for the toddlers and teas and coffees for the adults at the weekly meetings.
"At these meetings, toddlers get the chance to develop social skills while parents and carers have a chance to relax with others who share similar responsibilities.
