'Can't wait' - Arsenal supporters make Gabriel Jesus and Eddie Nketiah point ahead of Nurnberg

Arsenal's pre-season is firmly underway.

Mikel Arteta's side face Nurnberg in Germany today as they look to secure their second win of pre-season. The Gunners thrashed Ipswich 5-1 behind closed doors on Saturday as their new No.14 Eddie Nketiah bagged a first-half hat-trick at London Colney.

Arteta has made several changes since that day, with young right-back Reuell Walters stepping into the line-up. Matt Turner is also making his first appearance in the Arsenal goal whilst Bernd Leno hasn't been selected. That will leave further question marks over his future as Fulham are said to be closing in on a move for the German international.

Meanwhile, in what is a welcomed boost ahead of the new season, Kieran Tierney has returned to the side after more than three months on the sidelines. However, £45million signing Gabriel Jesus will have to leave his mark from the bench.

Team news is as follows.

Arsenal starting XI vs Nurnberg: Turner, Bellerin, Walters, Mari, Tierney, Lokonga, Maitland-Niles, Smith Rowe, Pepe, Nketiah, Nelson.

Subs: Runarsson, Okonkwo, Cedric, Sousa, Gabriel, Elneny, Smith, Patino, Oulad M’hand, Marquinhos, Martinelli, Balogun, Jesus.

Fans have reacted to the side selected on Twitter. Many are happy to see their side back in action but some are disappointed not to see Jesus from the start. Take a look at what's been said below.
