Ian Wright has claimed you "can't trust Liverpool", raising doubts over their Champions League qualification credentials.
The Reds suffered a setback in their hopes of breaking into the top four last weekend as they were beaten 1-0 by lowly Bournemouth. A seventh away defeat in the English top-flight ended a blossoming unbeaten run from Jurgen Klopp's side bolstered by their 7-0 thrashing of Manchester United.
However, their slump on the south coast was capitalised on by their European rivals as Newcastle United and Tottenham Hotspur returned to winning ways to drop the Reds back down to sixth. Manchester United, meanwhile, were held by bottom boys Southampton despite Casemiro's first-half sending-off.

The former Arsenal forward believes Harry Kane, who was on target twice for Spurs against Nottingham Forest, will be the difference in this season's race to qualify for next season's competition as Liverpool's form remains inconsistent.
"I think Tottenham are going to be okay simply because they have got Harry Kane," said Wright speaking to Premier League Productions. "He’s going to score goals.
"You look at Newcastle. They are missing chances. Yes, they scored a couple and it was good for them, but they will have to do that with their two games in hand. They have to score goals. I can’t see Tottenham not scoring goals.
"You can’t trust them. You can’t trust Liverpool. At the moment, whoever I am, playing against Liverpool, then I would have a go.
"What it comes down to is that you have Harry Kane. For as long you have Harry Kane and you can create chances, then he is probably going to score them. This is why I will fancy Tottenham to make the top four, regardless of how they play."
